At Audiogroup, we stand behind the quality of our products and aim to ensure reliable performance and customer satisfaction. This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and craftsmanship only.

1. Warranty Coverage

During the warranty period, Audiogroup will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any product that proves to have a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship, provided that:

  • The product is returned in its original packaging, with shipping prepaid by the customer; and
  • The return has been authorized in writing by Audiogroup prior to shipment.

2. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Passive speakers, burnt/blown woofers, or tweeters
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Improper use, installation, or maintenance
  • Connection to incorrect supply voltage or over-amplification
  • Negligence, misuse, or abuse
  • Improper mounting or handling
  • Damage during shipping or transit (after original delivery)
  • Exposure to extreme weather, moisture, or temperature
  • Acts of God (e.g., lightning, flood, fire)
  • Failure to follow the instructions in the user manual or manufacturer guidelines

⚠️ Audiogroup cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by factors outside of manufacturing defects.

3. Warranty Procedure

  1. Contact Audiogroup at info@audiogroup.co.za to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number.
  2. Package the product securely in its original packaging.
  3. Clearly mark your RA number on the parcel.
  4. Ship the item prepaid to the address provided by Audiogroup.

All freight, courier, and handling costs associated with warranty claims are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Limitation of Liability

  • Audiogroup’s total liability under this warranty is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product.
  • No refunds or credit notes will be issued for warranty claims unless specifically authorized.
  • Audiogroup will not be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:
    • Loss of profit or income
    • Damage to other equipment
    • Downtime or inconvenience

5. Duration of Warranty

The warranty period varies depending on the product type and manufacturer. Unless otherwise specified in the product documentation or invoice, the standard warranty period is 12 months from the date of purchase.

Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) must be presented for all warranty claims.

6. Non-Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable to any subsequent owner or user.

7. Legal Rights

This warranty policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA).
Nothing in this document affects your statutory rights under South African law.
